Condiments are a part of nearly every meal, yet they are one of the most common sources of hidden sugars and artificial ingredients. Making your own condiments is one of the EASIEST ways to make strides toward helping your family be as healthy as they can be.

Let’s face it – condiments are part of nearly every meal.

What’s salad without salad dressing, chips without salsa, or even egg rolls without their quintessential plum sauce?

Yet store-bought condiments are absolutely laden with high fructose corn syrup, preservatives, and even genetically-modified foods. Since these foods are part of our everyday eating routines, that means we end up eating more than the occasional treat made with those undesirable ingredients. Yikes.

But there’s a simple solution. Make your own! Making your own condiments takes only a few minutes a day and it’s one of the EASIEST ways to make large strides in keeping those unwanted ingredients out of your home and in helping your family be as healthy as they can be.

Make Your Favorite Condiments at Home

(Without Sacrificing The Store-Bought Flavor You Love)

♥ Save Money

♥ Avoid High Fructose Corn Syrup, Preservatives, and Food Additives

♥ Have Fun

♥ Impress Your Friends

♥ Easily Teach Your Children How to Cook (These Recipes Are All Easy to Make & Kid-Approved!)

Making your own condiments isn’t difficult. With 135+ pages of recipes and tips, we’ll show you exactly how easy it is – not to mention frugal and healthy – to make your own favorites at home.

From the Introduction:

"I don’t know about you, but when I feed my children good food, it’s not just in order to avoid the “bad” stuff, but it’s to be proactively nourishing them so that they’re filled with the “good” stuff.

"I’ve worked and reworked these recipes (and here’s my huge shout out to the 254 recipe testers who gave me amazingly helpful feedback through the process!) to make them taste as close to the store-bought originals as possible. Store-bought yellow mustard has that certain – je ne sais quoi – perky tangy zing, and I wanted to make sure these homemade versions captured as much of those unmistakable flavors as possible."

    What a coincidence

I really enjoyed the first version, and it gave me motivation to look and try a few things that were not in the book. Funnily enough in the second version are some of the things I looked at like Teriyaki sauce. I think it is just great first off to find a way of making "substitute" Condiments if you run out and simple, and now secondly some great sauces etc. Hmm I think I should wait for version three to see what supprises await us then. Thanks for a great useful reference/experimentation Book

    Restocking the Pantry: Second Edition

Just received the second edition and saw a lot of good recipes. I see this as a basic and very valuable resource for those who like to make their own food. I was pleased to see a couple recipes that I already do that were similar and included the ingredients that, in my personal opinion, are key to put these recipes in "the best" category. Thank you for compiling this book. I will use it often.

Superb and full of great info

Though I haven't yet had the chance to fully appreciate all the information packed in this little gem, I have learned so much from what I have read. I am looking forward to continuing my "education" in the near future.
